Friends for Adoption is a "buddy system" that links adopting families together so that they can encourage each other through the twists and turns of the process. Each month, you and your Friend send and receive encouragements (with a $15.00 limit) in the mail. This post is about my gift to Brooke. Even though my husband and I are saving up for our own adoption, we believe we should support others financially, with prayer, and with encouragement as we are able. Find out more about Friends for Adoption, including how to sign up, here.
Levi called me up this month and told me he wanted to buy Addie something for our Friends for Adoption swap. What a sweetheart. ;-) This is what he had me write:
Hi Addie! Levi here. Since summer has arrived, I figured you might like to splish and splash! I also picked out some balls for you so you practicing for when I get home. Have fun!
And this is what he ordered! He spied this "Fill N Fun" Water Play Mat on her baby registry and thought it looked like so much fun.
He also saw these "Ball Squirtees" and knew that Addie needed them. Any girl he may want to date in the future is going to need to know how to throw a ball, he says! Right now, his favorite is the baseball.
